From September 8 to 12, 2025, ten U.S. journalists will take part in the first official event of the Sip and Savor campaign: an exclusive press trip to the heart of the Roero. The experience offers a deep dive into one of Italy’s most fascinating wine regions, with visits to vineyards, wineries, and local producers, all paired with curated cultural and gastronomic itineraries.
Over the course of five days, the group will visit six Roero DOCG wineries, enjoy technical tastings and educational sessions on wine and deli meat pairings, and discover the local food and wine culture through hands-on experiences. The tour also includes cultural landmarks such as historic castles, scenic villages, and encounters with traditional producers of honey, cheese, and the native Madernassa pear.
This immersive journey offers an authentic window into the Roero’s landscape, traditions, and people—enhancing the story of European excellence through the eyes of those who tell it best.
