From the deli counter to Orlando: European deli meats will take part in IDDBA 2026

The project will take part in IDDBA 2026, one of North America’s leading trade events for the dairy, deli and bakery sectors, taking place from June 7 to 9 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

The campaign will welcome trade professionals and visitors at stand 614, within the International Pavilion – Italy Section, offering tastings and insights into the quality, versatility and cultural heritage of European deli meats. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a selection of products in purity, including Prosciutto Crudo, Mortadella and other traditional specialties promoted by the campaign.

A key highlight will be the live masterclass scheduled for Monday, June 8, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at Workshop Area 609, directly in front of the Italy Section. Open to all attendees, the session will feature culinary demonstrations by an Italian chef, who will prepare two recipes inspired by the versatility of salumi: crackers with Mortadella mousse and crushed pistachios, and choux pastry filled with creamy cheese, fig compote and Prosciutto Crudo. The masterclass will also feature Davide Calderone, Director of ASSICA, who will present the Sip and Savor campaign and introduce participants to the distinctive characteristics and cultural value of the products promoted by the initiative.

Participation in IDDBA is an important opportunity to engage directly with professionals from the US food industry and promote the quality, versatility and authenticity of Italian and European cured meats through tastings, educational activities and live experiences.
